Tiki Pig Roast & Fishing Rodeo!

Service Description

For years, we hosted a Suis Generis Grand Isle Surf Fishing Rodeo. Now, we are super-excited to host our first Tiki Pig Roast & Primitive Watercraft Fishing Rodeo!! What does that mean? Participants can fish from shore and/or from any non-powered watercraft (ie: no motors). Bring a kayak, perow, canoe, innertube or build an outrigger! Winning categories are: largest fish; most fish by weight; and strangest catch! Winners will receive $100 gift certificates redeemable at Suis Generis or the Tiki Food Lab. Fishing is from 10:00AM - 5:00 PM! We will also have some kayaks available for use by participants. Bring your own fishing equipment and bait. We can offer pointers and positive encouragement!!! Entry is $35, which includes food, water & iced tea. Other beverages and tips are extra. Music will be by Bane & The Gators. Food will include hardwood fired Bora Bora Boar, plenty of veggie/vegan options & hopefully some fish that we catch (assuming y'aal don't totally suck at fishing!)
